Psalm 132

1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:  2How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;  3Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;  4I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,  5Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.  6Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.  7We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.  8Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.  9Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.  10For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.  11The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.  12If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.  13For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.  14This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.  15I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.  16I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.  17There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.  18His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Before rest, I want you to consider what God wants from you. I recently learn that God wants us to be loud and bold. We have gone silent for far to long. Where is our shout, where is our stand, where is our voice. Where do we declare our faith? Where do we teach our spiritual values and to who? If only in the church then we are silent. Tonight, I want you to find your voice and declare your faith in God. Claim it and be fierce with it! Let tomorrow be the day becomes the day the world hears your voice for God. Write your voices here to prepare.

Psalm 131 Day 44 Midday

Psalm 131

1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.

We should always be mindful of our Christian like matters. No matter if we are eating or exercising, we should always be busy our minds for the Lord. We need to do this in practice until it's perfected in our daily lives. Today I have 1 of 2 challenges for you. Doing both would be awesome. First practice, if you are so busy that you can't stop to think about God doing your stuff then STOP, take a 5-20 minute timeout with just you and God, and get reconnected. Pray, read, study..Sometimes it's just stopping to say Jesus, Jesus, Jesus...Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God...Or if you can't stop..then do the second challenge. While you are folding your laundry, doing dishes, jogging, whatever it is, put your mind on God not what you are doing. I personally while I'm working at my job and imagining I'm preaching. Then write your experince here, Are you closer to God, trusting him more because you are putting your mind on him?

Psalms 130 Day 44 Morning

Psalms 13

1Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.  2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.  3If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?  4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.  5I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.  6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.  7Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

When we pray we should give everything to the Lord. Emptied ourselves completely out, because only doing so can we truly surrender to God. Plea to God for forgiveness and direction while shouting out his praises. This morning free yourself from all that burdens you down and start the day out right. Write down all your burdens to God here in prayer.
