Psalms 15

Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

This is a reminder of how we should always be. This psalms I think we should memorize it everything before we go to bed and every morning when we wake up. Be honest, is this your true desire to be this kind of person? In this blog I want to you describe how you think your life would change if you reached the next level in walking close to God by being exactly this way all the time.(I'm don't mean to imply anyone isn't this way already) And tell how you think that would affect the people around you, your family, friends, neighbors, strangers, co-workers, and church goers. Do you think it would make your world better?

Day 5 Midday Ps. 14

Psalms 14

How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?3 Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.6 I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Sometimes when we wonder if God has forgotten about us, it's a feeling of being closed off. We have to look at ourselves and see if we are closing God off. In this day and age the world has been so evil and it's influence is everywhere. Are we open to the world more then we are to God and don't realize it. Would you describe your friends as Christian or nonchristian? Do your favorite TV shows mock God, use profanity, lust, violence? Do your song lyrics you like best are about relationships, parties, and broken hearts? I'm not saying that these other things are sin, that everything has to be gospel only. That is between you and God and your conscience. But we do have to look at them things as worldly influences and make sure that we have just as much gospel/word of God influence or even more then that. Write today about your own balance of worldy verses the word. And does the results match your spiritually of being open or closed off to God.

Psalms 13

In your Christian walk do you sometimes feel neglected? In them times do your still praise God? We should always have a testimony or a song to keep us going. Music, songs, dancing are forms of praising God. When you feel low what gospel song makes you feel strong again. Tell why your choice that song, and make it means to you.
